This app mashes up the text biographies of every U.S. Congressmember since 1950, with the lists of top 25 national universities and liberal arts colleges, as ranked by U.S. News and World Report.

The adjacent table lists the U.S. colleges with the highest number of mentions among the Congress Bioguide entries for all legislators since 1950.
Note: These schools also must be in the top 25 in one of the categories used by the U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges. Some prestigious schools, such as University of Michigan, have a lot of Congressional connections but aren't included in this table because of the arbitrary top 25 cutoff.
